i want to ask a question, how do you make stuff out of polymer that's so small without crushing it? i just started using polymer and its nothing like clay from the ground. 
It takes a lot of practice and also moisturized hands. I find when your hands are soft, I don't have many fingerprints. Also it depends on the type of polymer clay you use. Sculpey Premo tends to be more firm than Sculpey III (Premo is also a better and more durable brand, but starting off, III is a good beginner brand). I'm still practicing myself!
